Dr. Gregory Stepka grew up in West Warwick, RI and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in 1998. He then earned his D.M.D. degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2003. At the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Dr Stepka was a Foresight Committee Member where he mentored incoming dental students.
He began his dental career in North Smithfield, RI working alongside his father, Edward J. Stepka, D.M.D., who has been practicing dentistry in North Smithfield since 1973.
Dr. Greg particularly enjoys general and cosmetic dentistry. He has served as President of the Woonsocket Dental Society, is a member of the Rhode Island Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He was voted by his peers as one of America’s Top Dentists and a Top Dentist in Rhode Island Monthly three times. Every year, Dr. Stepka and staff volunteer their time for the Rhode Island Mission of Mercy, which helps address unmet oral health needs in Rhode Island.
Outside of the office, Dr. Greg enjoys spending time with his wife, children and their rescue dogs Flutie, a hound/beagle mix, and Elsa, a Jack Russell Terrier. He and his wife have also rescued two horses from the slaughterhouse pipeline, Annie & Betty. In his spare time, he enjoys Boston College athletics, golfing, and coaching his kids’ sports teams.
